Managing your Threat-Landscape

Complimentary Lunch provided for in-person attendees at 12 Noon at the PIOGA Office in Wexford

Cyberattacks always happen when you least expect them. And when

they happen, they happen quickly.

Responding appropriately is not just the responsibility of your cybersecurity team; everyone in the organization has a role to play. Is your team prepared? Do they know what to do and what not to do? Most importantly, has your whole team practiced their response? Everyone — the board of directors, company executives, managers, and team members — has to know their roles and responsibilities and work out any potential problems with their response before a live cyberattack puts immense stress on the organization.

Currently, out of the 50 United States, 10 States have earned a select badge of honor: the states have the highest recorded number of Data breaches in the continental United States. Unfortunately, Pennsylvania ranks 7th, having experienced two of the largest health care and software data breaches of 2022. What makes both breaches significant, is not the compromise of 235,237 medical records or the 10 million in recorded ransomware losses spread amongst just 100 SMB’s. It’s the fact that none of compromised businesses knew they were under attack. Instead, the criminals were lurking, exploiting systems for months through trivial backdoors, undetectable to IT-Administrators until post-breach. The stealth type of re-occurring data breach incidents, continues to raise new questions – How do you know you are under attack? Do you have a plan for an incident? Do your customers have confidence in your systems and services? What is your organizations appetite for risk?

Join this lunch and learn, for a discussion centered around how improving your cybersecurity will help your organization attain solid IT-incident response planning and increased ROI.All while disrupting criminals at every step.

Further, explore the modern adaptive defensive approach of detecting and neutralizing attacks in real-time, with ever-greater frequency and effectiveness. Learn new methods through which your organization can gain compliance to several Cybersecurity frameworks, and understand the positive impacts of framework compliance. Benefits can include, but not limited to insurance, lending, and customer trust. Additionally, the experts from Custos IQ will discuss how a offensive cybersecurity approach can streamline business processes, and maximize operational efficacy.
