PART 1:
Fundamentals of Safety Leadership for Oil and Gas Workers
Safety leadership is not limited to those with supervisory or management titles. Safety leadership should be practiced by every worker regardless of job title. The
“Fundamentals of Safety Leadership for Oil and Gas Workers

Participants will have the opportunity to put their newly acquired knowledge and skills into use through interactive role play and photo-based activities similar to scenarios they would encounter in the oi & gas jobsites. The scenarios focus on the highest work risks, including transportation, struck-by/caught-between hazards, confined spaces, falls, and explosions. This Fundamentals of Safety Leadership training is based on elements of leadership training material developed by the Center for Construction Research and Training and the Elective Topic in the OSHA 30-hour Outreach Training – Construction Course.
